Converted my grandfather's 50-year-old gas lawn mower to electric by repurposing parts from a discarded electric mower.

Mounted the new motor to the original chassis using machined standoffs to maintain proper cutting height.

Fabricated a sheet-metal enclosure to house two 35 Ah series batteries on the chassis.

Kept costs down by recycling as many components as possible.

And made my parents very happy!
